Southern Section President Hello, colleagues, friends, and partners in school health, It is truly an honor to be in this role as the President of the California School Nurses Organization Southern Section. Our section represents more than 600 dedicated professionals—each of you making an impact on the lives of students every single day. When I think back over nearly 30 years in nursing—from maternal-child health and public health to my years as a school nurse in Chino Valley Unified—I remember countless moments when a student’s life was changed because a school nurse was there. These moments remind me that our profession is more than a role. We are leaders, mentors, and advocates for equity and wellness in education. This year, we will continue to elevate school nursing by advancing policy, nurturing professional growth, and ensuring that every student has access to safe and compassionate care. Our strength lies not just in the care we provide, but in the collective voice we raise together. I am honored to serve you in this 2025–2027 term. Together, we will mentor new leaders, support one another, and strengthen the future of our profession. Thank you for your passion, your commitment, and your service.
