About High Road Training Projects

The California Workforce Development Board (CWDB), in partnership with the Labor and Workforce Development Agency (LWDA), is pleased to announce the High Road -Training Partnership’s Resilient Workforce Program (RWP).

The objectives of the High Road Training Partnership (HRTP) initiative are to:

  • Increase access to existing high-road jobs for underserved populations.
  • Create pathways for job growth for incumbents already employed with a high-road employer.

In alignment with these objectives, the HRTP RWP will fund training partnerships with high-road employers to directly increase the number of skilled workers from underserved populations in high-quality jobs in priority sectors.
