CSNO School Nurse Academy

The School Nurse Academy was designed by school nurses for school nurses. The Academy features a hybrid learning experiences. The introductory first module will be conducted via two evening Zoom sessions; the remaining modules to be studied online. The intent of these modules is to help new school nurses bridge their role and practice until they are enrolled in a school nurse credentialing program.  There are 9 modules that vary in length and content. Each module stands independent of the others. The modules include interactive activities that allow for self-paced course work.

The CSNO School Nurse Academy is facilitated by experienced school nurse leaders who serve or have served on the CSNO State Board. School Nurse Academy attendees automatically become CSNO members since organizational support is critical to school nurse success. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants.

CSNO is pleased to offer a total of 62 continuing education contact hours through the CA BRN, under our Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing CEP #04269. We regret that once registered, no cancellations or refunds may be made, however substitutions are welcome.
