California Education Code 49455 mandates that vision screening be perform in the educational setting.  The California Department of Education has released new guidelines that address screening requirements outlined in the California Code of Regulations. This training will support school nurses in training others to assist with vision screening in the educational setting as well as update school nurses on current practice.  The professional learning opportunity will be limited to 15 participants and provided on a first come, first served basis. Four continuing Education Contact Hours will be provided through the California Board of Registered Nursing. The California School Nurses Organization is provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing CEP #04269.We regret that once registered, cancellations may not be made however substitutions are welcome.  Professional Learning experience does not include vision screening training product. Individuals who participate in the training will receive a $50 discount on the training product.
