September 23, 2026 Happy Hour! Children & Youth Behavioral Health Initiative and the Role of the School Nurse 2:30-4:00

The Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI), part of California’s Master Plan for Kids’ Mental Health, is a statewide effort to improve how children, youth, and families access behavioral health support. Grounded in a “whole child” approach, CYBHI helped transform systems so young people could find care—when, where, and in the way they needed it most. School nurses have an integral role in providing mental health services and support in the educational setting under the California Education Code 49426. We hope you can join us!
