Lydia Bourne has served as the CSNO Lobbyist, CSNO Executive Director, and School/Public Health Nurse colleague.  Lydia has been successful in advocating for School Nursing issues including as of late the State School Nurse Consultant and Office of School Based Health. Lydia was instrumental in working with then Senator Wolk to put SB 276, which allowed for Free Care expansion of the LEA Medi-Cal Billing Option in California.  Lydia is well respected and has learned many secrets to advocating for school nursing issues.  Come learn about Legislative updates, best practices on advocacy and enjoy a toast to Lydia as she journeys into retirement.  1.5 Continuing Education Contact Hours will be offered.  The California School Nurses Organization is a provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing CEP #04269.  This opportunity is open to all school nurses.
